Focused Communities of Learning

Students at each grade level are assigned to a "cluster" of approximately 115 students. Each cluster is taught by a "team" of teachers.

BUS INFORMATION

The First Student bus schedule can be found hereAs in the past, if parents do not see their specific address listed on the schedule they should consider the bus stop in the closest proximity to their home as “their bus stop”. If parents have specific questions or concerns for First Student, they can be reached at 352-2303.

7th and 8th Grade Band sectionals for today are as follows: Period 1 - Group 15, Period 2 - Group 16,  Period 6 - Group 13, Period 7 - Group 14.
 
Today:  Viola Sectionals
 
Students planning to audition for Honors Band should record their auditions during band sectionals this rotation.
 
Yearbook club meeting is today at 2:45.  
 
There will be a meeting for Battle of the Books on Monday, November 3rd, right after school.  Anyone interested in participating may join us.  If you can't make it to the meeting, but are still interested in joining, just let Mrs. Roeder know.
 
5 days until tickets go on sale for the Long Haul Road Trip experience with Jeff Kinney!  Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during lunches on November 4th and 7th.  Your homeroom teacher will be handing out a form today if you would like to reserve a ticket to the event on November 19th.  
 
A Safe Sitter class run by the Keene Family YMCA will be held November 3rd, 5th, 6th & 7th 3:30-5:30 each day in the Keene Middle School cafeteria. You must be able to attend all four days.  The cost is $65.00.  Register by calling the Keene Family YMCA by November 1st.  If you are interested you can pick up a flyer in the cafeteria during lunch to bring home.
 
 
6th Grade Volleyball begins today after school in the gym.  2:30-3:15.
 
All Fall Athletes need to hand uniforms in to Mr. Margaitis today.
 
All winter athletic forms are due today.  Drop off in the drop box outside locker rooms or give to Mr. Margaitis.
